Overview
If you are a teacher or administrator who is not starting their own school, but joining and existing school, you can follow these steps to connect your TeachHero user account to the school account you've been invited to.
You must be invited to a school in order to join it. An invite email will be sent to you from the school's admins.
How to Accept an Invitation
When you are invited to join a school, you'll receive an email letting you know that you've been invited to join a specific school and which school role you'll be assigned.
The email will looks something like this:

To accept an invite:
- Check your email inbox for an invitation email and open it
- Click the Accept button
- Follow the steps to login or create a new TeachHero account if you do not have one
- Continue to follow the steps to creating your school specific profile
- After finishing all steps, you should see the school in your list of schools from your TeachHero account home screen. Click on the school to access it.
How to Join a School Using an Invite Code
The invite email includes a unique invite code but the school administration may have shared an invite code with you instead of sending an invite email.
- Login or create a free TeachHero user account
- Navigate to your account Home screen (this is the screen showing a list of schools you're connected with)
- Click Add School -> Join existing school
- Type in the invite code you received (it is case sensitive)
- Click Join
- Complete the school profile setup step
- You should now see the school in your list of schools
