Account vs School profile

Your school profile is separate from your TeachHero account and is unique to each school you belong to. It contains the information that other team members, teachers, and parents will see when interacting with them (e.g. emails, notes, etc.).

One reason you might need to keep separate contact information between schools is if the school issues you an email address. Have separate profiles per school makes this easy.

How to set up your school profile

When register a new school or joining a school for the first time, you'll be asked to set up a school profile.

  1. Upload a photo (optional)
  1. Enter or update your name
  1. Enter or update your email address
  1. Click next to save your profile

You can update other information about your profile like your personal bio page, address, and other personal information at any time by editing your profile.

How to edit your school profile

You can make changes to your school profile at any time by following these steps:

  1. Log into your TeachHero account and select the school with the profile you want to update
  1. Go to Settings
  1. Go to School Profile
  1. Edit your profile
  1. Click Save changes to update your profile
