Overview
If you want to create a new school and begin managing it, you'll need to register a new school. Registering a school gives you ownership control over the school account. You'll be able to invite other administrators and teachers to help you manage.
You can register as many schools as you want. You'll be able to access these schools using your TeachHero account.
How to register a new school
- From the Schools list page click Add school -> Register a new school
- OR-
From inside the admin panel of a school, click on current school menu and select Register school
- OR-
Go to teachhero.com/admin/new
Enter the school account name
This is the name displayed to admins and teachers inside TeachHero. It is not shown to students or parents.
Enter the school's display or legal name
This is the school name displayed to families and students on emails, legal pages, invoices, receipts, and in the portal.
Enter a subdomain
This is the subdomain that families and students will use to access your school website, parent portal and student portal.
Example: acme.teachhero.com
Select your timezone
Your timezone determines when things are published, sent, or due.
- Click Register school
- Set up your school profile, then click next
- Choose the grade levels your school accepts (you can change these any time), then click next
