Managing link and file attachments to an email broadcast

Overview

You can share links and files with recipients by adding them as attachments to an email broadcast. If an email broadcast has attachments, a button labeled "View attachments" will be added to the bottom of the email. A recipient can click on that button to visit a page with a list of attachments.


Adding attachments to an email broadcast

When editing an email broadcast, you can add links and file attachments to your email.

How to attach links

  1. Click, Add link
  1. Give the link a label (this what is displayed to the recipient)
  1. Copy and paste the URL into the URL field
  1. Click, Create

Repeat these steps to keep adding links

How to attach files

  1. Click, Add files
  1. Select existing files from your files library using Select existing files button. Click the checkbox next to each file you want to attach, then click select
  1. Add new files by clicking Add new file
    1. Give the file a label (this is what recipients see)
    1. Drag & drop a file not the upload area or click browse to find it on your device to upload your file
    1. Repeat step 3 to continue adding new files
  1. Click, Add file(s) at the bottom of the window to attach them to the email

Video and audio files cannot be uploaded at this time. If you want to attach a video, you can use the Attach link button and copy & paste in a link to a video (i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, etc.)

Removing attachments

  1. Click Remove to remove an attachment from the email broadcast

Rearranging the order of attachments

This will change the order in which they appear to the recipient.

  1. Click, Reorder
  1. Drag and drop attachments to rearrange their order
  1. Click, Finish reordering to save your changes
