Overview
You can send an email broadcast to a number of different recipients. To select recipients, click on the Recipients tab when editing an email broadcast.
There are multiple ways you can select recipients:
- By segments
- By individual (contacts)
- By families enrolled in selected programs
- By families enrolled in selected classes
After selecting your recipients, click, Save changes.
Adding recipients by segment
- Click, Add segments
- Check the box next to each contact segment you want to select
- Click, Select
You'll see one or more segments listed. The email broadcast will be sent to any contacts belong to those segments with a valid email address.
Adding individual recipients
- Click, Add contacts
- Check the box next to each contact you want to select
- Click, Select
Adding recipients by families enrolled in programs
- Click, Add programs
- Check the box next to each program you want to select
- Click, Select
You'll see one or more programs listed. The email broadcast will be sent to any contacts with a valid email address, with the role of Parent, and with students enrolled in those programs.
Adding recipients by families enrolled in classes
- Click, Add classes
- Check the box next to each class you want to select
- Click, Select
You'll see one or more classes listed. The email broadcast will be sent to any contacts with a valid email address, with the role of Parent, and with students enrolled in those classes.
