Overview
Teachers can share class updates with parents and students and make important announcements to one or more classes.
Creating Announcements
There are two ways to create announcements:
- Click "Announcements" in the main navigation
- Click "New announcement" to create an announcement
Alternatively, you can:
- Select a class
- Click "Announcements" tab
- Click "New announcement"
Creating an announcement requires a title and a message. The title serves as your announcement's headline and should be short and attention-grabbing. The message is where you write your update or important announcement.

Photos
Add photos to your announcement using the "Insert / Edit Media" tool.


Attachments
To attach files to your announcement, click the "Select Files" button. This allows you to browse your files library and select the files you want to include. Attachments will appear below your message for readers to download.

Scheduling
Finally, set when your announcement should be published using the "Published At" date time picker. You can choose to publish immediately or schedule it for a future date and time.
